Frequently Asked Questions COVID-19

Collaborate & Communicate: Let’s Meet the Challenge of Covid-19 Together

We do not yet know how the combined effects of the Covid-19 virus and the steps taken to combat the pandemic, will affect our industry. What we do know is that we can’t, as individuals or businesses, go it alone. It’s more important than ever to collaborate and work together as a community!

The following is the first in a planned series of FAQs, and other materials, designed to help our customers get the most from 2H Water Technologies. We’ll be updating the FAQs and adding a range of useful information on a broader range of water treatment issues including wastewater, effluent water, potable water and process water.

But, before you take a look at the FAQs, let’s take a moment to think about the future

Yes, we know the future can be hard to visualise but there will be a time when the new projects you were planning to implement in 12-18 months’ time will, once more, become a priority. How about progressing, or even starting, initial feasibility studies?

The next few months will be a good time to connect with 2H’s customer service and design teams for help in scoping out essential plans, maybe compile a project file and even discuss costings. All of which will put you firmly on the front foot when normal service resumes!

Our design and technical specialists will be happy to help. Whether you’re looking for a full proposal, help with design or general consultancy advice, 2H is here to help.

Contact Our Experts

Is 2H Water Technologies open for business?

Yes, we are.  We’re doing our best to provide Process and Potable Water, Wastewater and Effluent treatment customers with a responsive and supportive service whilst staying within Government guidelines and remaining mindful of the health and safety of the entire workforce – that includes your staff as well as our own people.

How can I contact 2H Water Technologies?

In terms of communication methods, nothing has changed. You can call us on 01604 742300 or email us. We are operating normal office hours. If you need to call outside these hours, you can leave a message or send an email.

Would it make more sense to wait until everything is more normal to contact 2H?

No, definitely not. Please don’t let the current situation dissuade you from making contact with any issue on which you’d usually approach 2H for help, advice or support.

And don’t forget, we’re here to help with any process or potable water, wastewater or effluent treatment issue or query.

We want to ensure our customers are in the best possible shape, not only operationally but also from a planning perspective.  That’s why we’re offering a design and planning service with all the expert advice you need  available on the other end of the phone or email.

Are 2H able to come on site if I need help?

We see our role as ensuring our customers in key industries can maintain a consistent, high-quality process or potable water, wastewater or effluent treatment service wherever needed.

How we respond depends on the type, and most effective means of providing support. Where possible we’ll provide visual assistance via online meetings or conference calls.

There will be cases in which only hands-on support will be enough to resolve an urgent problem or improve essential operational performance and reliability. If and when that happens, we’re happy to organise an on-site visit.

What about sourcing products?

If you need products, don’t hesitate to get in touch. Our production and supply chain is currently running smoothly.

Regarding media, we’re having no trouble obtaining the foils from which we construct BIOdek& PLASdek plastic media & TUBEdek Lamella Settlers from our parent company’s production facility in Germany.

Transportation from Germany to the UK is (at the moment) fast and reliable. Our UK assembly facility and transportation services are also both working well.

Is 2H adhering to current health and safety practices?

Absolutely. All our staff undergo regular health and safety training. They’ve also been thoroughly briefed on the current guidelines. It goes without saying that every member of 2H staff is committed to maintaining hygiene standards and being socially responsible in every way. This is underlined by the recent attainment of the Health & Safety ISO 45001 accreditation.

Please note that all interactions between 2H staff and colleagues at a customer or supplier site will be conducted strictly within the current Government health and safety guidelines.

Where can I go for up-to-date general advice on 2H – or my query?

The first port of call for general queries should be our website. If you need an update on a query or order, or need advice on any process or potable water, wastewater or effluent treatment issue, please get in touch.

Whatever the query, feel free to call us on 01604 742300.
